Gary Gendell
Jazz Dance
Graduate, High School of Performing Arts. Formerly Director of Showtime
Dance Studios in Queens. Also appeared in Annie on Broadway following
a long engagement in the Broadway hit Chicago. Mr. Gendell has
been Peter Gennaro's assistant at the Radio City Music Hall and has
performed on TV, nightclubs and in Europe. Gary is currently performing
in NYC with Dance-Over-40.
Christine Dakin
Modern Dance
Is known for her performance of classic Martha Graham roles, and those
Graham created for her in Rite of Spring and Phaedra's
Dream, partnered by Rudolf Nureyev. With the Martha Graham Dance
Company since 1976, she was principal dancer, Artistic Director, and
now Artistic Director Laureate of the Company. Speaking and dancing
roles were created for her by Twyla Tharp, Robert Wilson and Martha
Clarke. She received a ABessie@, a Dance Magazine Award, a Fulbright
and two Rockefeller U.S.-Mexico Fund for Culture Grants for teaching/choreography/research
in Mexico. For more than a decade on faculty at The Juilliard School,
she is a Radcliffe Institute Fellow, Visiting Lecturer at Harvard University,
teacher/performer for danz.fest (Italy), Invernadero Danza (Mexico)
and dancer/Associate Founder of Buglisi Dance Theatre. With an international
collaboration of dancers and musicians she is creating and filming,
La Voz del Cuerpo/The Body Speaks.

Bill Bowers
Mime and Physical Theatre
Performed as a principal dancer under Martha Graham in the Martha Graham
Dance Company from 1976 and was Artistic Director during the company
rebirth from 2002. Known for her performance of classic Graham roles,
roles credited for her in Rite of Spring and Phaedra's Dream
partnered by Rudolf Nureyev, and speaking and dancing roles created
for her by Twyla Tharp, Robert Wilson and Martha Clarke. Received a
Bessie Dance Magazine Award, a Fullbright and two Rockefeller U.S.-Mexico
Fund for Culture Grants for teaching/choreography/research in Mexico.
She is Visiting Lecturer at Harvard, teacher at the Ailey School, and
dancer/Associate Founder for Buglisi Foreman Dance.
